Geburtstages von Friedrich Cerha zeigt das Forum Frohner in Kooperation mit dem Archiv der Zeitgenossen \u2013 Sammlung k\u00fcnstlerischer Vor- und Nachl\u00e4sse an der Donau-Universit\u00e4t Krems einen Aspekt des OEuvres des Ausnahmek\u00fcnstlers, der der \u00d6ffentlichkeit bislang wenig gel\u00e4ufig ist: sein bildnerisches Werk.\u00a0Parallel zu seinem bedeutenden musikalischen Schaffen hat Friedrich Cerha seit den 1950er-Jahren seine kontinuierliche Auseinandersetzung im visuellen Bereich vorwiegend in Form von Assemblagen, aber auch in Form von Malerei verdichtet. Reliefartige Oberfl\u00e4chen dominieren. Plastizit\u00e4t wird ebenso durch den Einsatz von Fundst\u00fccken generiert wie durch einen materialhaften Zugang zur Farbe. Friedrich Cerha, der in seinen Texten sprachgewaltig Bez\u00fcge zwischen den unterschiedlichen Disziplinen seines umfassenden k\u00fcnstlerischen Ausdrucks herstellt, verfolgt \u2013 in serieller Bearbeitung nachvollziehbar \u2013 gewisse Str\u00e4nge \u00fcber mehrere Jahrzehnte. Seine abwechslungsreiche Vertiefung und Fokussierung von Faktoren wie Rhythmus oder Polychromie strukturiert das mehr als 900 Objekte umfassende Werk.\u00a0Die Ausstellung steht in Verbindung mit einem wissenschaftlichen Symposium (Konzeption: Gundula Wilscher), das am 12. Februar 2016 im Archiv der Zeitgenossen stattfindet. Im Fokus steht der Komponist Friedrich Cerha als neugierig Experimentierender, der mit verschiedenartigem \u201eMaterial\u201c, sei es musikalischer, sprachlicher oder tats\u00e4chlich greifbarer Natur, k\u00fcnstlerisch arbeitet und sich von Denk- und Strukturmodellen unterschiedlicher wissenschaftlicher Disziplinen inspirieren l\u00e4sst.\u00a0<em>Kuratorin: Theresia Hauenfels\u00a0<\/em>[Forum Frohner.
