Ende M\u00e4rz zeigt die Galerie Raum mit Licht erstmals ihre Arbeiten in einer Einzelausstellung in Wien. Im Ausstellungsraum setzt die K\u00fcnstlerin ihre Arbeiten in Dialog mit Werken von K\u00fcnstlern der Galerie und \u00f6ffnet in den Ber\u00fchrungspunkten neue Betrachtungsebenen. Das Konzept und die Repr\u00e4sentation des K\u00f6rpers, im Besonderen die Geste, Ber\u00fchrung und Momente des Kontakts stehen im Zentrum ihrer Arbeit. \u00d6zlem Altin arbeitet mit einer umfangreichen Sammlung von gefundenem Bildmaterial aus B\u00fcchern, Magazinen oder dem Internet. Hieraus w\u00e4hlt sie assoziativ Bilder und Ausschnitte, die sie im Anschluss in dichten Collagen und mit ihren eigenen Fotografien, Malereien und skulpturalen Arbeiten zu komplexen Installationen zusammensetzt. \u00d6ZLEM ALTIN (*1977 in Goch, Deutschland) lebt und arbeitet in Berlin, derzeit in der Sammlungspr\u00e4sentation im Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz vertreten. International waren ihre Arbeiten in den letzten f\u00fcnf Jahren in zahlreichen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen gezeigt: Witte de With, Rotterdam (2015); Kunstraum Bethanien, Berlin; Circus, Berlin (2013); Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (2013); Kunsthalle Wien (2013); Leopold\u2013Hoesch\u2013Museum, D\u00fcren (2012); David Roberts Art Foundation, London (2011); und Fondazione Morra Greco, Neapel (2010).
