Zahlreiche \u00f6sterreichische Museen und Sammlungen unterst\u00fctzen das Projekt mit gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen Leihgaben und erm\u00f6glichen die Zusammenkunft von K\u00fcnstlerInnen der Jahrhundertwende mit den Wiener Aktionisten: Die Spannbreite reicht von Inkunabeln der Jahrhundertwende aus dem benachbarten Leopold Museum \u00fcber die gro\u00dfz\u00fcgige Unterst\u00fctzung mit Arbeiten aus der Albertina, dem Belvedere und dem \u00d6sterreichischen Theatermuseum, dessen ber\u00fchmte Nuda Veritas (1899) von Gustav Klimt zu sehen sein wird, bis hin zu bedeutenden Erg\u00e4nzungen aus dem Wien Museum sowie dem an der Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr angewandte Kunst Wien beheimateten Kokoschka-Archiv, der Sammlung Friedrichshof und weiteren Leihgaben aus \u00f6sterreichischem Privatbesitz. Mit K\u00f6rper, Psyche und Tabu als zentralen, titelgebenden Begriffen verdeutlicht die Pr\u00e4sentation ideengeschichtliche, inhaltliche und gestalterische Zusammenh\u00e4nge zwischen dem Wiener Aktionismus und den k\u00fcnstlerischen Entwicklungen zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts. Werken von G\u00fcnter Brus, Otto Muehl, Hermann Nitsch und Rudolf Schwarzkogler, den Skandalk\u00fcnstlern der 1960er-Jahre, werden Arbeiten ihrer ebenfalls umstrittenen Kollegen vom Jahrhundertanfang \u2013 von Gustav Klimt \u00fcber Richard Gerstl und Oskar Kokoschka bis zu Koloman Moser, Max Oppenheimer und Egon Schiele \u2013 gegen\u00fcbergestellt.
