Reinz, K\u00f6ln, (zu der Zeit Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer und stellv. Vorsitzender des BVDG) ein F\u00f6rderprogramm f\u00fcr junge K\u00fcnstler, das bis heute vom BVDG organisiert wird und mit den F\u00f6rderkojen ein spannendes Experimentierfeld f\u00fcr nicht etablierte Kunst bietet. Damit tragen die die ART COLOGNE und der BVDG seit \u00fcber drei\u00dfig Jahren dazu bei, jungen, exzeptionell arbeitenden K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstlern aus dem In- und Ausland den Einstieg in den Kunstmarkt zu erm\u00f6glichen und das Interesse der Sammler und des Fachpublikums aus den Museen und Institutionen auf sich und die pr\u00e4sentierende Galerie zu ziehen.\u00a0Das F\u00f6rderprogramm NEW POSITIONS auf der ART COLOGNE (unter diesem Label seit 2009, von 2004-2008 &#8222;NEW TALENTS&#8220;) wird durch die Bundesbeauftragte f\u00fcr Kultur und Medien, das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen, die Koelnmesse und den Bundesverband Deutscher Galerien und Kunsth\u00e4ndler realisiert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Eine j\u00e4hrlich wechselnde Jury, die sich jeweils aus 2 GaleristInnen, 1 K\u00fcnstler\/in, 1 Kurator\/in und 1 Kunstkritiker\/in zusammensetzt, w\u00e4hlt unter allen Bewerbungen bis zu 20-25 K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstler aus. Bewerben k\u00f6nnen sich K\u00fcnstler ausschlie\u00dflich \u00fcber ihre Galerie, die als Aussteller auf der ART COLOGNE zugelassen worden ist. F\u00fcr die nominierten K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstler steht direkt neben dem Stand der sie vertretenden Galerie eine 25 Quadratmeter gro\u00dfe Koje zur Verf\u00fcgung. Die Auswahl der dort pr\u00e4sentierten Werke und die Gestaltung der Koje liegen in der Hand der K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstler.\u00a0\u00bbEine zentrale Aufgabe von Galerien besteht darin, neue k\u00fcnstlerische Talente zu entdecken und zu f\u00f6rdern. Mit ihrem hohen pers\u00f6nlichen und wirtschaftlichen Engagement sind es vor allem die Galeristen, die eine nachhaltige F\u00f6rderung der von ihnen &#8222;entdeckten&#8220; K\u00fcnstler bewirken. Das F\u00f6rderprogramm der ART COLOGNE ist hierf\u00fcr ein bedeutendes Instrument. Es verschafft sowohl den K\u00fcnstlern als auch ihren Galerien eine hohe Aufmerksamkeit und motiviert beide Seiten zu einer Intensivierung ihrer Beziehung\u00ab \u2013 so Klaus Gerrit Friese. \u00dcberaus erfreulich sei zudem die Nachhaltigkeit, die eine Evaluation des Projekts ergeben habe: rund 80 Prozent der K\u00fcnstler, die einmal in den Genuss des F\u00f6rderprogramms kamen, werden bis heute von ihren Galerien vertreten.
