Sein Stilmittel ist das Portr\u00e4t: In den Bereichen Musik, Fashion, VIPs, Alltag und Landschaft gelingt es ihm, mit einem sehr eigenen Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr Personen, Situationen, Milieus und Klischees unmittelbare, manchmal scheinbar einfache Bildkompositionen zu schaffen, die die Idee einer nicht perfekten Sch\u00f6nheit in den Vordergrund stellen. In bewusster Distanz zum Glamour in der Mode- und People-Fotografie setzt Teller in Modekampagnen f\u00fcr namhafte Label Schauspieler, Supermodels, Popstars oder andere Prominente in neue, teils irritierende visuelle Zusammenh\u00e4nge und enthebt die Darstellung damit dem g\u00e4ngigen Abbildungskodex. Andere Werkgruppen sind autobiographisch gepr\u00e4gt und zeigen als subjektive Dokumentationen die Auseinandersetzung mit seiner Jugend und Heimat &#8211; sie sind direkt, ehrlich, manchmal humorvoll und immer ber\u00fchrend. Und auch die ungesch\u00f6nte Selbstinszenierung geh\u00f6rt zum Konzept des Fotografen, der damit zus\u00e4tzlich das Medium Fotografie als Spiegel der Gesellschaft reflektiert und dessen Medienwirksamkeit untersucht.
