September 2016 im Dorotheum Wien weit \u00fcber ihren Sch\u00e4tzwerten versteigert wurden: Die rund 400 angebotenen Gem\u00e4lde und Antiquit\u00e4ten stammten aus der Privatsammlung des legend\u00e4ren Wiener Kunsth\u00e4ndlers Reinhold Hofst\u00e4tter (1927 \u2013 2013), der damit seinen Sommerwohnsitz Schloss Schwallenbach in der Wachau (Nieder\u00f6sterreich) ausstattete.\u00a0Ferdinand Georg Waldm\u00fcllers Gem\u00e4lde \u201eDer Abschied\u201c erreichte hervorragende 203.411 Euro. Hoch beboten mit 163.294 Euro wurde auch Hans Makarts Bild \u201eDie Nixen und der Tiger\u201c.\u00a0Highlight unter den Antiquit\u00e4ten war eine Prunk-Rokoko-Bodenstanduhr, die mit 72.504 Euro weit \u00fcber den Erwartungen zugeschlagen wurde.
