September in der Alten Post im ersten Bezirk statt. <em>\u201eZiel war es, die \u00f6sterreichischen Kunstproduktionen mehr in den internationalen Kontext zu setzten, da ein hohes Potenzial an zeitgen\u00f6ssischen K\u00fcnstlerInnen existiert. Einerseits fehlen junge Galerien, anderseits schaffen gro\u00dfe Institutionen zu wenig Raum f\u00fcr junge Positionen. Ein Defizit, welches wir mit der Parallel Vienna aufzeigen und ein weiteres Mal effizient mit hohen k\u00fcnstlerischen Anspruch entgegenwirken wollen\u201c<\/em>, so Stefan Bidner, k\u00fcnstlerischer Leiter der Parallel Vienna. Parallel Vienna konnte bereits \u00fcber 13.000 Besucher verzeichnen und ist somit am besten Weg sich als unverzichtbarer Bestandteil der internationalen Kunstszene zu etablieren. Insgesamt wurden auf 7000 m2 \u00fcber 400 k\u00fcnstlerische Positionen gezeigt. <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/u\/1\/photos\/110417926730791676324\/album\/6333644287875846129?authkey=CNDbw6mSx-zr1wE\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Foto:\u00a0\u00a9 KUNSTINVESTOR<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Parallel Vienna ist eine Satellitenmesse und kuratierte Gesamtschau, die zum vierten Mal zeitgleich zur viennacontemporary in Wien abgehalten wird. Parallel Vienna blieb seinem Prinzip treu: leerstehende Immobilien in der Innenstadt als Pra\u0308sentationsplattform fu\u0308r junge wie auch etablierte Kunst zu nutzen. Parallel Vienna bu\u0308ndelt die urbanen Kra\u0308fte zeitgeno\u0308ssischer Kunstproduktion und bietet einen Einblick in die unterschiedlichen Szenen, Communities und Schaupla\u0308tze der Stadt Wien. Parallel Vienna nutzt 2016 wieder die weitla\u0308ufigen Ra\u0308umlichkeiten der Alten Post im ersten Bezirk als Plattform fu\u0308r Gegenwartskunst und schafft somit einzigartige Rahmenbedingungen fu\u0308r innovatives Ausstellen und zeigt junge, aufstrebende, sowie bereits etablierte ku\u0308nstlerische Positionen und versammelt Kunstinitiativen aller Art \u2013 Kunstvereine, Galerien, Project
