Auch wenn seine Arbeiten Szenen von Einwohnern des brasilianischen Staates Minas Gerais abbilden, sind diese Themen universell und omnipr\u00e4sent. W\u00e4hrend seines Aufenthaltes in Wien im Februar 2017, erm\u00f6glicht durch das Q21 Artists-in-Residence Programms im MuseumsQuartier, werden Arbeiten von F\u00e1bio Baroli in zwei Einzelausstellungen im MuseumsQuartier zu sehen sein. Mit der Er\u00f6ffnung der Ausstellung \u201aGoliath\u2019 am 9. Februar um 19 Uhr wird erstmals in Europa die zwischen 2013 und 2016 entstandene Serie von \u00d6lgem\u00e4lden \u201avendeta\u2018 und \u201aintifada\u2019 gezeigt, welche bewaffnete Kinder in st\u00e4dtischen Kriegssituationen darstellt, allerdings Spielzeugpistolen reale Waffen ersetzen. Das erkl\u00e4rte Ziel der von Pedro Henrique de Melo in Zusammenarbeit mit der Jan Arnold Gallery kuratierten Ausstellung im frei_raum Q21 ist es die Diskussion \u00fcber die Not von Kindern in gewaltbereiten Milieus anzuregen.
