Kunstgenuss auf h\u00f6chstem Niveau.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nGustav Klimt ( 1862 &#8211; 1918 ), einer der bedeutendsten \u00f6sterreichischen Maler und bekann-tester Vertreter des Wiener Jugendstils, und B\u00f6sendorfer repr\u00e4sentieren beide \u00f6sterr-eichische Kultur und deren k\u00fcnstlerische, musikalische und handwerkliche Aspekte. Das zweite Modell der Klimt-Serie widmet B\u00f6sendorfer dem Bildnis von Adele Bloch-Bauer. 1903 erhielt Gustav Klimt von Ferdinand Bloch-Bauer den Auftrag, ein Portr\u00e4t seiner Frau anzu-fertigen. Im selben Jahr reiste Klimt nach Italien. Die in Gold geschm\u00fcckten Kirchenmosaiken inspirierten ihn, diese Bildsprache in eine zeitgem\u00e4\u00dfe Form zu \u00fcbertragen. In den folgenden Jahren erstellte Klimt \u00fcber 100 Zeichnungen und Studien f\u00fcr das Gem\u00e4lde. Er experimentierte mit verschiedensten Techniken, bis es ihm gelang, umfangreiche Blattsilber- und Blattgold-auflagen auf das \u00d6lgem\u00e4lde aufzubringen. Mit einer aufwendigen Reprographie-Technik war es m\u00f6glich, die Originalvorlage dieses Gem\u00e4ldes auf das Innere des Fl\u00fcgeldeckels zu \u00fcber-tragen. Teile des Gem\u00e4ldes veredelten unsere Kunsthandwerker anschlie\u00dfend mit Blattgold-auflagen. Notenpult und F\u00fc\u00dfe spiegeln diese goldene Phase mit weiteren Jugendstilelement-en \u2013 die ebenfalls von unseren Kunsthandwerkern aufwendig blattvergoldet wurden. Das Modell Klimt ist auf 25 Fl\u00fcgel limitiert und erh\u00e4ltlich in den Gr\u00f6\u00dfen 200 und 214. Jedes Instru-ment tr\u00e4gt eine individuell nummerierte Messingplakette. Der fulminante Ausstellungs-katalog \u201eGustav Klimt\/Josef Hoffmann, Pioniere der Moderne\u201c komplettiert diese K\u00fcnstler-edition. Dieses Buch erschien anl\u00e4sslich der gleichnamigen Ausstellung im &#8222;Belvedere Mu-seum Wien&#8220; und widmet sich der intensiven Zusammenarbeit der beiden K\u00fcnstler und der modernen Bewegung um die Jahrhundertwende. Auch Josef Hoffmann, ein wichtiger \u00d6sterr-eichischer Architekt, war eng verbunden mit der B\u00f6sendorfer Manufaktur. Er gestaltete 1909 einen B\u00f6sendorfer Fl\u00fcgel im Wiener Jugendstil.
