Besonders niedrige Rufpreise und die Lust am Entdecken f\u00f6rderte ein reges Interesse aus dem In\u2013 und Ausland. Der erste Auktionstag wurde zweifellos zu einem Abend der Antiquit\u00e4ten. Kaum ein St\u00fcck blieb ohne Gebot und in Summe konnte das Doppelte des Rufpreises erzielt werden. Mit dem Erl\u00f6s will die Stiftung des Malers zuk\u00fcnftige Projekte zur Aufarbeitung des k\u00fcnstlerischen Werkes finanzieren. Ungemein leuchtend in den Farben zogen die beiden Gem\u00e4lde des im letzten Jahr verstorbenen Malers Gunter Damisch unweigerlich die Blicke an und verf\u00fchrten die Bieter zu Steigerungen bis zu \u20ac 25.000 bzw. \u20ac 27.000! Zu erwarten war auch das gro\u00dfe Interesse f\u00fcr Rudolf Stingel, Franz West und f\u00fcr Helmut Leherb allegorienreiches Gem\u00e4lde in barockem Rahmen Der Triumph des Jean Jacob stritten sich Sammler bis zum Zuschlag von \u20ac 45.000 \/ \u20ac 56.700.
