Mit 70 regionalen und internationalen Galerien ist sie so vielseitig wie nie zuvor. Im Vordergrund der Art Bodensee, der einzigen Sommer-Kunstmesse im deutschsprachigen Raum, steht auch im 17. Jahr der entspannte Kunstgenuss und die Kunstvermittlung. \u201eDie Art Bodensee ist ein Gegenentwurf zum gewohnten Messegeschehen\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Projektleiterin Isabella Marte. \u201eKunst abseits des Mainstreams wird pers\u00f6nlich und mit Mu\u00dfe vermittelt. Das begeistert Besucher wie Aussteller.\u201c Wachsende Besucherzahlen sowie das rege Interesse der Galerien betont dies. 2017 kommen 70 Galerien aus \u00d6sterreich, Deutschland, Liechtenstein, Schweiz, England, Italien, Frankreich und Spanien nach Vorarlberg. Mit F\u00fchrungen, Workshops und Gespr\u00e4chen, gibt es ein breites Kunstvermittlungsangebot, das einl\u00e4dt Kunst in den archi-tektonisch ansprechenden Hallen zu entdecken. Geplant wurden die Messe- und Veran-staltungshallen von den Stararchitekten Marte.Marte. Die diesj\u00e4hrige Sonderschau \u201eIn Search of the Unexpected\u201c ist eine Re-Inszenierung jener Ausstellung, die vergangenes Jahr bei der Architektur-Biennale in Venedig gezeigt wurde. Die Br\u00fcder Stefan und Bernhard Marte vereinen in ihren Entw\u00fcrfen Gegens\u00e4tze zu r\u00e4umlichen Kompositionen. Der Kunstraum Dornbirn widmet seine Sonderschau in der Halle 11 den K\u00fcnstlern Christoph Steinbrener und Rainer Dempf. Ein weiteres Highlight im diesj\u00e4hrigen Art Bodensee Programm ist der \u201eTower of Madness\u201c der beiden K\u00fcnstler Roland Adlassnig und Paul Renner. Ein Projekt, das sowohl Installation, Skulptur als auch Event in einem ist. Hundert Personen k\u00f6nnen am 22. Juli an dem dazugeh\u00f6rigen Event \u201eSpontane Verg\u00e4rung\u201c teilnehmen.
