Jahrhunderts. Kolig ist ein exponierter Vertreter einer f\u00fcr seine Zeit vielfach typischen dynamisierten figuralen Malerei. Seine Bilder sind von einer virtuos-schwungvollen Handschrift und einer leuchtend-schillernden Farb-igkeit gekennzeichnet. Haupt-themen von Koligs Gem\u00e4lden sind Portr\u00e4ts und figurale Allegorien. Die Ausstellung im Leopold Museum ist nach \u00fcber f\u00fcnfzig Jahren die erste gro\u00dfe Personale, die zum Werk von Anton Kolig in Wien stattfindet. Das Leopold Museum ist daf\u00fcr besonders pr\u00e4destiniert, verf\u00fcgt das Museum mit \u00fcber 20 Gem\u00e4lden doch \u00fcber den umfangreichsten musealen Bestand von Werken dieses K\u00fcnstlers.
