Januar 2018 in der Galerie durchf\u00fchren wird. 170 Werke zeigen nicht nur einen Querschnitt der Ausstellungen der letzten Jahre, es wurden auch Bilder aus der seinerzeitigen \u00dcbernahme der Galerie Contact integriert. Thomas und Maria Mark, die Galeristen, haben ihre Galerie urspr\u00fcnglich in einer aufgelassenen Fabrik in Spital am Pyhrn gegr\u00fcndet. Schon bald begann sich, begleitet von den Ratschl\u00e4gen von Peter Baum (damals Direktor des Lentos in Linz) und Peter Assmann (damals Direktor des Ober\u00f6sterreichischen Landesmuseums) die Ausrichtung der Galerie abzuzeichnen: die \u201ePoesie des Wenigen\u201c, wie Thomas Mark es einmal ausgedr\u00fcckt hat. Das Sensorium f\u00fcr eine extrem zur\u00fcckhaltende, strenge \u00c4sthetik zu wecken, wurde die zentrale Intention und das Markenzeichen der Galerie Artmark. Es gibt zahlreiche Bilder von Peter Krawagna, Karl Mostb\u00f6ck und Maria Moser, aber auch die \u00fcberaus stringenten Formen von K\u00fcnstlern wie Hannes Schwarz, Hermann Painitz, Edit Lajos, Helmut Senf, Gottfried Fabian und Claudia Hirtl sind prominent vertreten. Die Auktion startet mit einem Trommelwirbel von 17 Werken von Hans Staudacher; darunter so extrem Rares wie das \u201eFamilienbild II\u201c aus 1959\/1962 mit integrierten Schuhen, Rufpreis \u20ac 5.000.
