Tats\u00e4chlich war er einer der produktivsten und vielseitigsten K\u00fcnstler des 20. Jahrhunderts. W\u00e4hrend er in den USA l\u00e4ngst als Ikone gilt, wurde sein Gesamtwerk in Europa bis dato nur sp\u00e4rlich rezipiert. Die Ausstellung im Bank Austria Kunstforum Wien widmet sich dieser Aufgabe und damit dem Universalk\u00fcnstler Man Ray. Anhand von rund 200 Werken von internationalen Leihgebern, darunter das Museum of Modern Art und das Whitney Museum in New York, das Centre Pompidou in Paris, die Tate London und die Fondazione Marconi in Mailand, stellt die Schau Man Rays richtungsweisenden intermedialen und damit ungemein zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Ansatz heraus. Malerei, Fotografie, Zeichnung, Assemblage, Aerografie, Film, Buch- und Objektkunst \u2013 es gibt praktisch kein Medium, in dem Man Ray nicht gearbeitet h\u00e4tte: So entsteht ein vielf\u00e4ltiges, poetisches und oft humorvolles Panorama, das es erm\u00f6glicht, erstmals den \u201eganzen Man Ray\u201c kennenzulernen. Die Ausstellung ist von 14. Februar bis 24.
