Gemeinsam mit Johann Korec pr\u00e4sentiert Galerie auch Werke von Leopold Strobl: &#8211;<em>\u201ewir freuen uns besonders, dass wir von 72 teilnehmenden Galerien wegen des Werkes von Johann Korec f\u00fcr die MASTER NOW ausgew\u00e4hlt worden sind\u201c<\/em>, so Nina Katschnig die Leiterin der gleichnamigen Galerie Gugging. Mitte der 1940er Jahre hatte der franz\u00f6sische K\u00fcnstler und Weinh\u00e4ndler Jean Dubuffet den Begriff \u201eArt Brut\u201c definiert. Er beschrieb damit eine &#8222;unverbildete, rohe&#8220; Kunst, geschaffen au\u00dferhalb des kulturellen Mainstreams, entstanden aus einem inneren Ausdrucksbed\u00fcrfnis, frei von akademischer \u00c4sthetik. Die Galerie Gugging wurde 1994 zur Pr\u00e4sentation und f\u00fcr den Verkauf der Werke der K\u00fcnstler aus Gugging gegr\u00fcndet. Sie arbeitet weltweit eng mit Galerien, Museen und Sammlern zusammen und ist die \u201eBotschafterin\u201c der K\u00fcnstler aus Gugging. Seit 2009 werden auch Werke von internationalen Art Brut K\u00fcnstlern, Autodidakten und zeitgen\u00f6ssischen K\u00fcnstlern gezeigt. Die Galerie pr\u00e4sentiert vier Ausstellungen im Jahr, die mit einem Katalog begleitet werden und einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber das vielseitige Oeuvre der K\u00fcnstler geben.
