Die in Berlin lebende, deutsch-iranische K\u00fcnstlerin Anahita Razmi (1981) verwendet in ihrer Einzel-ausstellung Spoilers bewusst die Vorwegnahmen eines narrativen Motives, um daraus ein strategisches Handlungsformat f\u00fcr die Ausstellung zu entwickeln. Die an Eckpunkten und Protagonisten orientierte Handlung wird durch die Vorwegnahme und den daraus entstehenden Klischees zu einer sich selbst generierenden Geschichte. Wie auch in ihren bisherigen Arbeiten reflektiert Razmi die Rolle des \u201eNahen Ostens\u201c in der gegenw\u00e4rtigen Popul\u00e4rkultur, indem sie deren kulturelle \u00dcberschreibungen in der westlichen Gegenwart untersucht. Bezugnehmend auf die BBC-Produktion EastEnders, einer Vorabends-Serie, die im Londoner East End spielt, umfasst Razmis Produktion den Nahen, Mittleren und Fernen Osten. Stereotypen verschiedener Kulturkreise und Drama flie\u00dfen ebenso in das Projekt ein wie (post-) koloniale und politische Referenzen.
