Die Bilder der mehrfachen documenta-Teilnehmerin sind ebenso bedr\u00fcckend wie einnehmend. In Pastell oder Kohle zeigt sie Figuren oft formatf\u00fcllend in leeren, kaum definierten Umr\u00e4umen. Die Gesichter sind schattenhaft reduziert, Augen und M\u00fcnder nur Schemen. Die K\u00f6rper, meist nackt, wirken verloren und geisterhaft, als w\u00fcrden sie von einem fluoreszierenden Licht erhellt. Selten agieren sie, dann mit verst\u00f6rend vereinfachten, manchmal auch heftigen Gesten. Einsamkeit, Sexualit\u00e4t, Liebe, Gewalt oder Zerst\u00f6rung sind die Themen. Die Schweizer K\u00fcnstlerin ist von der Performancekunst der 1970er Jahre, der feministischen Kunst und der Friedensbewegung gepr\u00e4gt. Ihre Figuren dienen der stummen Identifikation, der Anteilnahme, dem Aufruf. Zuweilen zeigt sie die Berglandschaft des Oberengadins in schroffen Horizonten, \u00fcberm\u00e4chtig und erhaben.
