Junge Galerien aus Ost und West erkennen in der viennacontemporary ein Sprungbrett in die internationale Kunstszene, renommierte Galerien haben durch ihre wiederholte Teilnahme Wien als aufstrebenden, internationalen Kunstmarktplatz und Drehscheibe zwischen Ost und West sch\u00e4tzen gelernt. Mit einem Fokus auf Galerien aus Osteuropa, der starken Pr\u00e4senz der Wiener Galerienszene und einem inhaltlich dichten Rahmen-programm ist die viennacontemporary 2015 ein Highlight im internationalen Messekalender\u201c, zeigt sich Christina Steinbrecher-Pfandt, k\u00fcnstlerische Leiterin der viennacontemporary, \u00fcberzeugt von der diesj\u00e4hrigen Ausgabe der internationalen Kunstmesse. \u201eUnser Engagement betreffend viennacontemporary ist ungebrochen. Ich habe eine gro\u00dfe Vision: viennacontemporary, die zweifelsohne f\u00fchrende Kunstmesse f\u00fcr CEE, steht f\u00fcr die Vermittlung zwischen Ost und West und bietet eine Plattform f\u00fcr Austausch und Diskussion. Der Erfolg unseres Unterfangens im Jahr 2014 unterstrich klar und deutlich, wie wichtig dies ist. Ich kann heute mit Stolz sagen: unsere Kunstmesse in Wien ist eine der bedeutendsten europ\u00e4ischen Plattformen f\u00fcr die <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9004 size-full\" title=\"MARTINETZ, Albert Mayr &quot;Sie&quot;, 2015, Fotostativ, Per\u00fccke, Videokamera \u00a9 Courtesy MARTINETZ, Cologne; Germany\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kunstinvestor.at\/aktuell\/wp-content\/uploads\/18859725656_45c69bb6dc_z.jpg\" alt=\"18859725656_45c69bb6dc_z\" width=\"299\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.kunstinvestor.at\/aktuell\/wp-content\/uploads\/18859725656_45c69bb6dc_z.jpg 299w, http:\/\/www.kunstinvestor.at\/aktuell\/wp-content\/uploads\/18859725656_45c69bb6dc_z-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 299px) 100vw, 299px\" \/>etablierten Kunstm\u00e4rkte Westeuropas und der sich erst in letzter Zeit herausbildenden M\u00e4rkte in Ost-, S\u00fcdost und Zentraleuropa\u201c, Dmitry Aksenov, Vorsitzender der viennacontemporary.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Internationale und \u00f6sterreichische Galerien vertrauen dem Kunstmarktplatz Wien.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dass Wien ein erfolgversprechender Marktplatz f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst ist, beweist die Liste der Anmeldungen wichtiger internationaler Galerien. Nach der erfolgreichen Erstteilnahme 2014 hat sich Volker Diehl (DIEHL, Berlin\/Moskau) auch heuer wieder f\u00fcr die viennacontemporary entschieden und wird die K\u00fcnstlergruppe Alliance 22 aus Kiew in Wien pr\u00e4sentieren. Zwei Jahre ausgesetzt hatten Dittrich &amp; Schlechtriem aus Berlin. Die erfolgreiche Entwicklung der viennacontemporary nimmt die Galerie zum Anlass, nach Wien zur\u00fcckzukommen und pr\u00e4sentiert u.a. Julian Charri\u00e8re und Julius von Bismarck auf Wiens internationaler Kunstmesse. Ebenfalls Ausdruck der Bedeutung der viennacontemporary im internationalen Messegeschehen sind die erneuten Teilnahmen von KOW und der Galerie Crone, beide Berlin. Auch die wiederholte Teilnahme von Galerien aus der Schwerpunktregion Osteuropa unterstreicht die Relevanz der viennacontemporary, kommen doch viele KunstsammlerInnen extra nach Wien, um sich \u00fcber die Entwicklung der osteurop\u00e4ischen Kunstszene zu informieren. Die Galerija Vartai aus Vilnius zeigt neben vier Positionen aus Litauen mit Lilli Thiessen in diesem Jahr erstmals auch eine in Wien lebende K\u00fcnstlerin. Die Galerie Iragui aus Moskau geht anhand aktueller Positionen wie Nikita Alexeev, Viktor Pipovarov und Pavel Pepperstein den Spuren des Suprematismus in der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen russischen Kunst nach. Durch mehrfache Teilnahme an der Wiener Kunstmesse haben auch Temnikova &amp; Kasela aus Tallinn den Sprung in die internationale Kunstszene geschafft, die Krista M\u00f6lder und Flo Kasearu aus Estland und Inga Meldere aus Litauen pr\u00e4sentieren werden. Dass auch wieder die wichtigsten Wiener Galerien auf der viennacontemporary vertreten sein werden, ist ein klares Zeichen f\u00fcr den Erfolg der letzten Jahre, Wien am internationalen Messekalender zu positionieren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9001\" title=\"viennacontemporary \/ Henk Jan Kamerbeek\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kunstinvestor.at\/aktuell\/wp-content\/uploads\/16032236781_00ed60c36e_z.jpg\" alt=\"16032236781_00ed60c36e_z\" width=\"412\" height=\"280\" \/><em><strong>REFLECTIONS;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\ndas Pr\u00e4sen-tationsformat der viennacontemporary Mit dem Pr\u00e4sentationsformat REFLEC-TIONS betont die vienna-contemporary den kurator-ischen Aspekt der Galeriearbeit und bietet den teilnehmenden Galerien eine spezielle Pr\u00e4sentationsfl\u00e4che f\u00fcr eigens zur Kunstmesse konzi-pierte Ausstellungen. Geukens &amp; De Vil aus Belgien (Antwerpen\/-Knokke) nutzt das neue Format, um mit Sophie Kuijken und Gideon Kiefer zwei K\u00fcnstlerInnen zu zeigen, die sich mit der menschlichen Identit\u00e4t und Existenz in einer dem Untergang geweihten Welt auseinandersetzen. Die Galerija \u0160kuc pr\u00e4sentiert mit Alban Muja, Jasmina Cibic und Matej Andra\u017e Vogrin\u010di\u010d im Rahmen von REFLECTIONS drei k\u00fcnstlerische Positionen, die in ihren ortsspezifischen Arbeiten soziokulturelle Kontexte lokaler politischer Situationen reflektieren. Die Galerija Photon versucht dem Geist der DadaBewegung und des Surrealismus in der Fotografie des 20. Jahrhunderts in Osteuropa auf die Spur zu kommen und zeigt Ladislav Postupa, Stane Jagodi\u010d und Roberto Kusterle. T\u00e4gliche Routinen und Zw\u00e4nge, die wir eigentlich kaum noch wahrnehmen, sind die Grundlage des Ausstellungskonzepts der Galerija P74 mit Werken von Jo\u017ee Bar\u0161i, Polonca Lov\u0161in und Uro\u0161 Poto\u010dnik. Die erstmals an der viennacontemporary teilnehmende Propaganda Gallery aus Warschau zeigt mit Tomasz Kulka, Jakub Ci\u0119\u017cki und Adam Jastrz\u0119bski drei junge K\u00fcnstler, die sich mit Prozessen des Vergehens <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright wp-image-9002\" title=\"Sophie Kuijken, B.S.P., 156-122, 2015, Oil &amp; Acrylic on wood, 5 cm \u00a9 Courtesy of the artist and Geukens &amp; De Vil, Knokke - Antwerp, Belgium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kunstinvestor.at\/aktuell\/wp-content\/uploads\/18009059544_ac8a160726_z.jpg\" alt=\"18009059544_ac8a160726_z\" width=\"412\" height=\"521\" \/>sowohl in Gesellschaft wie Natur auseinandersetzen. Mit einer Gesamtinstallation f\u00fcr den Messestand wird Ingo Nussbau-mer, vertreten von der Galerie Hubert Winter aus Wien, seine k\u00fcnstlerische Forschung im Bereich der Farbtheorie auf der viennacontemporary vorstellen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Z<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><strong>ONE1:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Ein bew\u00e4hrtes Format f\u00fcr Einzel-pr\u00e4sentationen junger Kunstpositionen Auch am neuen Standort, der Marx Halle, erm\u00f6glicht die viennacontempo-rary Galerien, junge K\u00fcnst-lerInnen in Einzelpr\u00e4sentationen zu speziellen Konditionen vorzustellen. Bisher auf Galerien aus \u00d6sterreich beschr\u00e4nkt, steht die ZONE1 ab diesem Jahr auch internationalen Galerien zur Verf\u00fcgung. Die Galerie Nicola von Senger aus Z\u00fcrich hat sich f\u00fcr den 1981 in Banja Luka geborenen und in Wien lebenden Drago Persic entschieden, der an der Akademie der bildenden K\u00fcnste Wien (Meisterklasse Muntean\/Rosenblum, Elke Krystufek, Hans Scheirl) studiert hat. Bei Heimo Zobernig (Akademie der bildenden K\u00fcnste Wien) hat der 1987 in Sydney geborene Andy Boot, den die Galerie Emanuel Layr in der ZONE1 pr\u00e4sentieren wird, seinen Abschluss gemacht. Auch die Galerie Ernst Hilger pr\u00e4sentiert mit Coco Wasabi, 1984 in Wien geboren, einen Absolventen der Akademie der bildenden K\u00fcnste Wien. Die erstmals an der viennacontemporary teilnehmende Loock Galerie aus Berlin zeigt Ivan Grubanov \u2013 seine Installation \u201eUnited Dead Nations\u201c ist derzeit im Serbischen Pavillon auf der Biennale di Venezia zu sehen. Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art hat sich f\u00fcr Ulla Rauter entschieden. Die 1980 in Wiener Neustadt geborene Absolventin der Universit\u00e4t f\u00fcr angewandte Kunst ist dort bereits als Lehrbeauftragte in der Abteilung Digitale Kunst t\u00e4tig. Albert Mayr, geboren 1975 in St. P\u00f6lten und Absolvent der Meisterklasse Peter Kogler hat die K\u00f6lner Galerie Martinetz im Rahmen der ZONE1 eine Plattform gegeben. Insgesamt vier Einzelpr\u00e4sentationen w\u00e4hrend der Messetage zeigt die neu an der viennacontemp-orary teilnehmende One Work Gallery aus Wien. Jeweils einen Tag lang zu sehen sind die K\u00fcnstlerInnen Nana Mandl, Titania Seidl, Philipp Fleischmann und Daniel Ferstl. Vertreten wird Karin Fisslthaler, geboren 1981 in Oberndorf bei Salzburg mit Studienabschluss an der Kunstuniversit\u00e4t Linz, von der Galerie Raum mit Licht und zeigt erstmals ihre Arbeiten in der ZONE1. Seit 2000 lebt der 1977 in Genua geborene Aldo Giannotti in Wien. Zuvor studierte er in Carrara, Wimbledon und M\u00fcnchen. In der ZONE1 pr\u00e4sentiert wird er vom Projektraum Viktor Bucher. Das Bundeskanzleramt \u00d6sterreich unterst\u00fctzt auch dieses Jahr die teilnehmenden jungen K\u00fcnstlerInnen aus \u00d6sterreich.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter wp-image-9003\" title=\"Rebecca Raue, &quot;Er sucht Erinnerungsbilder&quot;, 2015 Acryl Pastell Kohle und Pappe auf Leinwand \u00a9 Courtesy Galerie Michael Schultz, Berlin, Germany\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kunstinvestor.at\/aktuell\/wp-content\/uploads\/18699774769_ba6036f386_z.jpg\" alt=\"18699774769_ba6036f386_z\" width=\"641\" height=\"429\" \/><em><strong>Focus Bulgaria:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Nach den Schwerpunktl\u00e4ndern Aserbaidschan, Georgien, Kasachstan, der Ukraine und Wei\u00dfrussland (2012), Georgien und Polen (2013) sowie Aserbaidschan (2014) richtet die viennacontemporary unter dem Motto \u201eFocus Bulgaria\u201c den Blick 2015 auf das Land Bulgarien. Auf Initiative von Elena Todorova, Pr\u00e4sidentin, Hugo Voeten Collection Gheel\/Belgien, Vesselina Sarieva und Katrin Sarieva, Gr\u00fcnderInnen, Open Arts Foundation und Sariev Contemporary, Plovdiv\/Bulgarien, Vessela Nozharova, Kuratorin, Art Affairs and Documents Foundation, Sofia sowie Iara Boubnova, Kuratorin, Kunstkritikerin, Gr\u00fcndungsmitglied und Direktorin, The Institute of Contemporary Art \u2013 Sofia zeigt \u201eFocus Bulgaria\u201c dieses Jahr eine repr\u00e4sentative Auswahl bulgarischer zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kunst aus privaten Sammlungen und den wichtigsten Galerien aus Bulgarien.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter wp-image-9005\" title=\"Daniel Kannenberg, Der Pfad zum gro\u00dfen Schachbrett, 2014, Tusche, Acryl, Lack und \u00d6l auf Leinwand \u00a9 ANNA JILL L\u00dcPERTZ GALLERY, Berlin, Germany\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kunstinvestor.at\/aktuell\/wp-content\/uploads\/18888717391_599a2cc730_z.jpg\" alt=\"18888717391_599a2cc730_z\" width=\"652\" height=\"439\" \/><em><strong>curated by_vienna:<\/strong><\/em> Mit dem Projekt curated by_vienna unterst\u00fctzt die Wirtschaftsagentur Wien mit ihrem Kreativzentrum departure seit 2009 die systematische Zusammenarbeit von Wiener Galerien zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kunst mit internationalen Kuratorinnen und Kuratoren und kooperiert gleichzeitig eng mit der viennacontemporary. \u201eCurated by_vienna 2015\u201c steht unter dem titelgebenden Motto \u201eTomorrow Today\u201c und beginnt am 10. September. \u201eCurated by_vienna ist zu einem Fixpunkt im Kulturkalender der Stadt geworden. Dieses Jahr er\u00f6ffnen wir den Kunstherbst und laufen in die viennacontemporary hinein, die Ende September er\u00f6ffnet.
