Oktober wird die erste gemeinsame Ausstellung \u201eVisions of Dance II\u201c von\u00a0Nora ULMER und Tom VENNING in der renommierten Opernball-Tanzschule Svabek er\u00f6ffnet. Sie verbindet \u2013 auf Tanz, Bewegung und Zeit basierend \u2013 verschiedene visuelle Medien: Malerei, Kaligraphie und Fotokunst.\u00a0<em><strong>Nora ULMER<\/strong><\/em> besch\u00e4ftigt sich in ihrer abstrakten Malerei mit \u201eF\u00fclle und Leere\u201c und dem Wechselspiel zwischen diesen beiden Polen. Beim Entstehungsprozess ist sowohl das Auftragen als auch das Abnehmen der Farb- und Materialschichten von Bedeutung. Die Natur mit ihren Strukturen und Farben in F\u00fclle und Reduktion, Werden und Vergehen, Bewegung und Stille, Alles und Nichts ist stetige Improvisationsquelle.\u00a0<em><strong>Tom VENNING<\/strong><\/em> pr\u00e4sentiert eine spezielle Art der Kalligraphie, die er sowohl in Tuschemalerei als auch in den Kunst-Fotografien seines \u201eBig brush light Paintings\u201c umsetzt. Seine k\u00fcnstlerischen Arbeiten sind von der Zen- und der islamischen Kalligraphie beeinflusst. Inspiriert wurde er vom Maler und Kalligraphen Kazuaki Tanahashi, bei dem er mehrer Seminare besucht hat. Daraus entwickelte Venning eine eigene, einzigartige Form der \u201easemischen\u201c Schrift (ohne semantischen Inhalt) mit einem modernen Ansatz und nach \u00e4sthetischen Kriterien. Dar\u00fcber hinaus flie\u00dfen in seine Werke auch die Erfahrungen eines K\u00fcnstlers mit einem multikulturellen und multiethnischen Background ein, der auf allen Kontinenten der Erde zu Hause ist.\u00a0Die fotografischen Werke von Tom Venning entstanden, indem er selbst t\u00e4nzerische Bewegungen mit dem Lichtstab in den Landschaften Australiens durchf\u00fchrte und sie gleichzeitig fotografierte bzw. filmte. Es sind gewisserma\u00dfen \u201eBild gewordene Choreographien\u201c \u2013 als Kalligraphien in leuchtenden Farben.\u00a0Die monochromen Tuschemalereien auf Untergr\u00fcnden wie handgesch\u00f6pftes Papier, Leder, Rinde, Pergament etc. verbinden asemische Kalligraphie mit graphischen Elementen: darauf sind Motive von Tieren, D\u00e4monen oder Figuren aus der griechischen Mythologie zu sehen. Jedes Bild entstand in einem stundenlangen meditativen Prozess in Live-Malerei-Sitzungen an einer Vielzahl von Standorten rund um den Erdball.\u00a0[10.
