Dieses Gebiet tr\u00e4gt den passenden Namen \u201epetit \u00eele\u201c und bietet den perfekten Treibstoff f\u00fcr ihr bereits sehr umfangreiches, multidisziplin\u00e4r ausgerichtetes \u0152uvre. In der Vide-Plein-Reihe analysiert Bailly das Bild fast anatomisch. Auf ihrem Schneidtisch filetiert sie Fotos von Ruinen, halb abgerissenen H\u00e4usern und verw\u00fcsteten Orten. Auf ihre ganz individuelle Art zerlegt sie die Struktur des Bildes, sodass nur das Wesentliche \u00fcbrig bleibt. Mit vielsagenden Pinselstrichen jagt Bailly nicht nur nach dem reinen Wesen des Bildes, sondern erforscht auch die Grundlagen der Malerei selbst: Farbe, Komposition, Auftragen der Farbe und Gestik. Zus\u00e4tzlich zum Pinselstrich, der einen Grundbaustein darstellt, ist die Gestik hier von vorrangiger Bedeutung. Die Gestik nimmt durch Baillys gnadenlose Pr\u00e4zision alle Facetten der Grundlagen in sich auf und ist wie der gefilterte \u00dcberrest heterogener Wahrnehmungen. Der STRABAG Artaward International, Kunstf\u00f6rderungs-preis der STRABAG SE f\u00fcr Malerei und Zeichnung z\u00e4hlt zu den h\u00f6chstdotierten privaten Kunstpreisen in \u00d6sterreich: J\u00e4hrlich werden ein Preis und vier Anerkennungen mit einem Preisgeld von insgesamt \u20ac 35.000,- vergeben.
